Allana Ferguson bio
Allana participated for Australia at Rugby Sevens 2013 and then suffered consecutive injuries to her knees which forced Allana onto the sidelines. The Australian returned to the rugby league after several years. Allana's first match in the rugby league for women was in 2015. She was a good player against Queensland and also represented New South Wales. Allana can also be found on radio on her CV, and has made regular appearances on the 2GB's most rated Continuous Call Team. Allana has a full teaching qualifications outside of sport. Allana Ferguson holds the rare privilege of being a representative of Australia in three different sports: rugby sevens as well as touch, and rugby league. Allana Ferguson is a Jillaroos rugby superstar and a fourth-time tear in the ACL has ended her football career. Ferguson has been in the sport for over 25 years. She had previously experienced tears to the same ligaments at the age of 15 17, 17 and 20 and the fourth tear was a sign that her playing days were over. Ferguson is JILLAROOS's player who had to retire early because of a fourth tear to the ACL of her left. Ferguson was injured in November, during a training session. The Courier Mail confirmed the announcement this week. Ferguson has been the face of women's rugby league in the past few years.
