Allana participated for Australia at Rugby Sevens 2013 and then suffered consecutive injuries to her knees which forced Allana onto the sidelines. The Australian returned to the rugby league after several years. Allana's first match in the rugby league for women was in 2015. She was a good player against Queensland and also represented New South Wales. Allana can also be found on radio on her CV, and has made regular appearances on the 2GB's most rated Continuous Call Team. Allana has a full teaching qualifications outside of sport. Allana Ferguson holds the rare privilege of being a representative of Australia in three different sports: rugby sevens as well as touch, and rugby league.
